Mother Teresa parish offers instruction for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist in our second grade classroom. Students will be learning from the Renewed and Received series from Ascension Press. Parents are required to attend an informational session prior to each sacrament. Information and dates will be announced in class.
*The Archdiocesan sacramental policy requires First Reconciliation/Holy Eucharist students to attend two years of religious education classes (typically 1st and 2nd grade).
*** If your child was not baptized at Mother Teresa Church, you must call the church where your child was baptized and ask them to send your child's baptism certificate to the Mother Teresa Parish Office. This record must be received before Spring Break.***
Attire for First Reconciliation
Please dress in nice church clothes.
Attire for First Communion
Girls: White dress, shoes, veil/headpiece. Please consider a white sweater or cover-up with sleeveless dresses. Gloves are fine, but they will need to take them off before Communion.
Boys: WHITE SHIRTS ONLY, dark slacks, tie. NO jeans, NO tennis shoes. Jacket, sweater, vest, optional.
